2nd Congress of European Managers

CROMA - Croatian Managers’ and Entrepreneurs’ Association will host the participants of 2nd Congress of European Managers which will take place on June 08-10 2017 in Opatija. Please, attend.

The program of 2nd Congress is still being created in cooperation with co-organizers: EMA - European Management Association, AMSEE – Managers’ Association of Southeast Europe, AMM - Association of Montenegrin Managers and CRT – Caux Round Table, but it is certain that the thematic framework will be associated with post-Brexit reality and trends on the common EU market, challenges that concern all managers, entrepreneurs and their companies. The panel discussion will be focused around a rhetorical question...

“Why do we need a unique European code of corporate management for business operations on the EU market?”

A few months ago, ahead of a meeting of heads of member states in Bratislava, in his assessment of the situation and challenges facing the EU, European Commission President Mr. Jean Paul Juncker, stated that within the EU we share too little of Europe’s fundamental values and that there is a lack of unity.. This is evident not only in the political sphere but also within the EU market.

Only the first step was made by adopting the Resolution of 1st Congress. If we really care about long-term sustainable development goals of the common EU market and our social responsibility with regard to the quality of life of all European citizens, a new concept of social responsibility in business should be applied, which will be based on fundamental European values and a vision of the EU as a developed knowledge-based civil society. This is a key challenge to all the members of the European business community, to the leaders of large corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.

Attendance at 2nd Congress has been announced by a number of managers, board members and presidents of the leading European and global corportions that support the idea. Of course, the oor will be open to those who are sceptical or have objections about the adopting of a unique European code of corporate management. We are expecting the arrival of more than 500 prominent businessmen from home and abroad.

The Congress of European Managers is not only a source of new ideas, inspiration and networking, but also a powerfull message of business community will be sent to all those who should be concerned about the imminent future of the EU market. See you in Opatija!

Per person 8th-10th June 2017

Early registration fee with the payment till 31st March 2017: 2.900,00 HRK / 385,00 €
Registration fee with the payment after 31st March 2017: 3.500,00 HRK / 470,00 €

The registration form on this website should be used when registering for the Congress. Please note that registrations will not be effective until payment of the registration fee has been received by the organizers.

The registration fee includes:
Congress materials, accreditation and a congress bag, attendance at the lectures, presentations, workshops (with an interactive demonstration of individual solutions, features or operation modes) panel discussions; access to the accompanying Congress exhibition, welcome drink and the opening ceremony of the congress, working lunch, the gala conference dinner, co ee breaks, VAT tax, electronic data processing, certi cate of attendance.

In case of choosing the registration option only, an additional fee of 100,00 € will be charged.
Registration will be considered complete if both the registration and payment are received by 31st March 2017. If the registration and payment are not completed by the due date the standard registration fee will be applied. The deadline for attendance registration is 31st May 2017.

The rooms for congress participants are reserved by the convention organizers for the period from 8th to 10th June 2017. Out of this period, the rooms are available subject to availability at the hotel. Booking is made according to the "first-come first serve" principle.
